Introduction
At The North Poppy, we pride ourselves on delivering the freshest, highest quality flowers and thoughtfully made stationery.
Because fresh flowers are perishable, we do not accept returns for fresh flowers. Stationery products can only be cancelled before the order is processed which is approximately 1-2 business days. Once your order is prepared, we are unable to accept returns, as each item is made and packaged with care.
We understand that occasionally something may not go as expected, and refunds may be necessary. This policy explains when and how refunds can be requested.
When can I get a refund?
We may offer a refund in these cases:
- Damaged or Defective Orders:
If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll ask for photos to help process your claim. - Incorrect Order:
If you receive the wrong order, let us know within 24 hours. We’ll work with you to fix the issue, which may include a refund. - Non-Delivery:
If your order doesn’t arrive on the promised date according to your tracking details, contact us immediately. We’ll investigate and may issue a refund if the problem was our fault.
When are refunds not available?
Refunds are not available for:
- Change of Mind:
Please choose carefully as we don’t offer refunds if you simply change your mind after ordering. - Late Contact:
Issues reported more than 24 hours after delivery may not be eligible for a refund. - Incorrect Delivery Information:
We cannot refund orders delayed or lost due to wrong or incomplete delivery details provided by the customer.
Can I get a refund if my flowers don’t arrive on a specific day?
Please note that all fresh flower orders are dispatched once a week on Wednesdays and stationery orders are dispatched twice a week. Because we carefully prepare each order with intention and care, we cannot guarantee a specific day of arrival.
Delivery times depend on the shipping method you select at checkout and the courier’s service. Dispatch day is not the same as delivery day.
For this reason, we do not offer refunds or cancellations due to delivery dates not matching your expectations. If you have any questions or need help choosing the right delivery option, please contact us before placing your order, we’re here to help.

How do I request a refund?
To request a refund:
- Email our customer service team at customerservice@thenorthpoppy.com within 24 hours of delivery.
- Include your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
- We’ll review your request and may reach out for more information.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
